Some reinforced by the challenge

As the fight in us all
Sometimes unyielding
Sometimes yielding when it is safe
When it is earned with someone special

Saying goodbye to the hurtful
To embrace the new
Always keeping the precious
Close at heart

Along the path
One can find the flowers
After sorting through the thorns
Pruning the wasted time away

Here & Now the choice we make
Grows anew for tomorrow
That which we will walk through
Will be tended today by what we plant
By what we cut away, by what we nurture

Lush is my garden
Filled with friends & lovers
Filled with those who embraced it all
Enveloped by the best the truest, the few

Deep runs the stream that flows through
Essential are all who I find here
Any given season brings new blooms
Hearty are the those that shine all year round

Loving all with a heart of intense passion
Gentle compassion
Eyes that see the whole
Loving the flower, the stem, the root
Admiring the whole of each unique being
